Royal Fishing operates on a skill-based shooting system where your cannon fires projectiles at fish swimming across the underwater cavern backdrop. Each fish has a fixed multiplier value - from 2x small birds to 350x ChainLong King wheel maximum. Your bet amount (adjustable via plus/minus buttons) multiplies by the fish value when captured.
Exclusive to Regal Hall (1-80 bet) and Qian Long Hall (10-100 bet), Dragon Wrath fills a circular orange meter on the right screen edge. Every shot adds wrath value proportional to your current bet. When the meter fills completely, tap the fireball icon to unleash a centre-screen meteorite bombardment hitting all creatures in a massive radius - including Immortal Bosses and ChainLong King.
Critical detail: wrath value empties after release or if you leave the game for 24 hours. The released skill damage scales to your current bet at activation moment, not the bet used during accumulation. Strategic players lower their bet whilst building wrath, then max bet before triggering the attack.
When you capture the golden dragon sitting on throne (only appears in Qian Long Hall), the screen transitions to a dual-ring roulette wheel. The outer ring shows multipliers: 1x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 50x. The inner ring has its own set of multipliers. You control when the yellow pointer stops spinning.
Your win calculates by multiplying the outer ring number by the inner ring number. Landing on 10x outer and 35x inner gives 350x total - the absolute maximum. This is why Qian Long Hall advertises "Mega Win 1000x" - though the wheel caps at 350x, other features can push beyond.
Golden Toad (50-120x) and Ancient Crocodile (60-150x) appear randomly across all three halls. When an Immortal Boss enters the screen, it doesn't leave until a timer expires. During this window, you can capture it multiple times - each capture pays out again. The boss has high health, requiring sustained fire.
Optimal strategy: switch to Auto mode (circular white button bottom centre) and increase bet when Immortal Boss appears. The Auto function continuously fires at the boss without manual tapping. If you capture it five times at 20 bet with 100x average multiplier, that's 10,000 coins from one boss appearance.
Drill Bit Lobster (80x) shoots a blue drill projectile that penetrates through every fish in its path before exploding. Position your cannon so the drill travels through dense fish schools. The final explosion has a circular blast radius - fish on screen edges often survive.
Serial Bomb Crab (70x) triggers multiple explosions sequentially across different screen areas. Each explosion has independent capture checks. You'll see orange/yellow explosion effects in 4-6 locations. This works best when the screen has scattered fish rather than one dense cluster.
Thunder Consecutive Hit (60x) creates purple chain lightning that jumps between nearby fish. The lightning continues jumping until you disable targeting or all nearby fish are captured. Most effective when fish swim in close formation - the lightning can chain through 8-10 fish from one eel capture.
Three Awaken Bosses exist: Humpback Whale (90-150x), Legend Dragon (120-200x), and Ice Phoenix (180-300x). Each has a basic multiplier (15x, 20x, 30x respectively) plus Power Up attack that multiplies by 6x-10x randomly.
The Ice Phoenix requires killing other boss types first to "wake up" - you'll see a blue crystal icon with "Wake x10 Up" text. Once awakened, the phoenix appears with full 30x basic multiplier active. If you get a 10x Power Up during this encounter, that's 30 x 10 = 300x multiplier on your current bet.
The pay table starts at 2x for small bird-like fish and yellow flowing-fin fish. Mid-tier includes clownfish (3x), turtles (4x-7x), pufferfish (6x), and starfish (5x). Premium regular fish reach 25x for blue sharks and 40x for Little Gold Fish.
Grouped fish formations pay more: Magic Stingray Four-Wheel Drive (four rays in cross pattern, 30x) and Red Ball Award Ceremony (five spherical fish clustered, 35x). These formations appear together, making them easier to target with area-effect weapons like Drill Bit Lobster or Dragon Wrath.
Joy Hall minimum 0.1 suits testing mechanics and learning fish patterns. Regal Hall 1-80 range gives Dragon Wrath access whilst managing risk. Qian Long Hall 10-100 is for players specifically hunting the ChainLong King wheel and maximum multipliers.
The plus/minus buttons adjust bet in increments. Your displayed balance (yellow text top corners) updates in real-time. Each shot deducts your current bet amount. If you're at 1,957.70 balance with 20 bet, you have approximately 97 shots before needing to reduce bet or exit.
Auto button (white circle, bottom centre-left) toggles continuous automatic firing. Your cannon shoots repeatedly at whatever's in front of it. Useful during Immortal Boss encounters or when many low-value fish fill the screen.
Aim button (target crosshair icon, bottom centre-right) locks your cannon onto a specific fish, ignoring others. Essential for high-value targets like ChainLong King or Awaken Bosses. When aimed, your shots track the target's movement. Disable Aim to return to manual directional shooting.
Top-right corner shows "Coming 70x" or similar text with a creature logo - this indicates a high-value fish about to enter the screen. The number tells you the multiplier value, the logo identifies the fish type. Prepare by positioning your cannon and potentially increasing bet.
Yellow "Your Location" text with orange arrow appears during gameplay tutorials or when multiple players occupy the same hall (though screenshots show single-player mode). Your cannon is always the golden fish-shaped weapon at bottom centre.
From 19:00 to 23:00 daily, hitting any fish type can randomly trigger Lucky Treasure Chest. The promotional screen shows "Up to 200x super win" with open wooden chest full of gold coins. This is a bonus event on top of regular fish multipliers - you receive both the fish value and potential chest bonus.
The chest appears to award randomly rather than requiring specific fish types. Playing during the 19:00-23:00 window increases your effective return, as you're eligible for double payouts (fish multiplier plus chest bonus) on every shot.
If you disconnect during gameplay, you receive the amount corresponding to any fish captured before disconnection, but game state doesn't save. This means active Immortal Boss timers, accumulated Dragon Wrath meter, and in-progress special fish effects are lost.
Your wrath value specifically clears after 24 hours of inactivity. If you build the meter to 90% full, leave for 25 hours, then return - you start from zero. Plan Dragon Wrath usage within single sessions rather than across multiple days.
Royal Fishing combines skill-based aiming with random fish appearances and capture rates. You control cannon direction, when to shoot, bet sizing, and which fish to target. The game controls which fish appear, their movement patterns, and whether your shot successfully captures (likely based on bet size vs fish value).
Higher bets appear to increase capture probability on tough targets. Shooting a 200x boss with 0.1 bet rarely captures it. Shooting the same boss with 20 bet shows noticeably higher success rate. This creates a risk/reward dynamic: small bets are safer but capture fewer high-value targets; large bets are riskier but secure premium fish more reliably.
Royal Fishing is an arcade-style game involving real money betting. Only play with funds you can afford to lose. Wins are never guaranteed regardless of strategy. Set deposit limits and time limits before playing. If gambling negatively affects your life, seek help from GamCare or similar organisations.
